02. Nhung Nguyen - Being Together With Eyes Closed
Nhung Nguyen’s “Home” recalls a reflection of silent movement, dreams, peace, tender beauty and reunion. Two ambient tracks have a touch of modern classical music and textural field recordings.
All tracks composed, performed, recorded and produced by Nhung Nguyen (September – October 2015).
No real instruments were used in this album. All were recorded and processed by a portable recorder, MIDI controllers and laptop.

Even if he says otherwise, Ian Hawgood is super prolific and incredibly talented in not only his own releases, but in collaborations and with the heart & soul put into the labels he's run over the years.
Saying all that, this is a more recent favorite release of Ian's: peaceful, deceivingly simple (yet not!) piano works that is personal, elegant and graceful in its warmth and presentation. Plus it's for a wonderful cause. Get it!! Joe Borreson

This music is eerie but somehow comforting, too. The violin in "Haven Returns" is really quite beautiful - it's an evocative moment when it comes in. The whole album create a great ambience for writing, which is when I usually listen. giantspecks
