6X5 is the first collaborative album between long standing ambient artists Glacis and The Humble Bee.

The projects humble beginning started with the release of 'Ten', an album of ten minimal piano pieces composed by Glacis for Piano day 2021.

Drawn to the beautifully simplistic motifs in this album The Humble Bee set about deconstructing and reimagining track 5 of the album. The results were 5 piece of music that tap into the deeply emotive language of the song, delicately weaving together textures, melodies, tape loops and instrumentation to create a rich bed of fuzzy decaying sounds.

The result is a sublimely crafted journey that feels like you are drifting in and out of a deep dreamlike state, slowly catching snippets of lost melodies in the rare moments of lucidity. Noisy tape loops and deep meditative soundscapes slowly blur the edges of these lingering melodies, gently decaying away into lush beds of soft textures.
